iPERMS Army

iPERMS Army is an electronic database that enables members of the US Army to store their records, retrieve and transfer information. It’s one of the few web-based databases the Army members use to handle their needs. Unlike the other similar systems which are mostly used for training and courses such as the Army Training Resources and Requirements System, iPERMS Army is more on the technical side of things.

In this article, we’ll provide basic information about iPERMS and show how you can access the system see your records and retrieve information.

How to login to iPERMS?

There are several ways you can have access to iPERMS. The easiest way to connect is by using AKO (Army Knowledge Online) account or CAC. It doesn’t really take much time to access iPERMS as long as you obtained your AKO or have a CAC. So as long as you have either one of these verification methods, you can access the iPERMS. One thing to keep in mind is that you don’t need CAC when you have your AKO the same way as you don’t need AKO when you have your CAC.

After logging in, you can see your records and get the necessary information you need. This web-based database comes in handy especially during COVID-19 days as it allows you to receive the needed information. The most convenient part of iPERMS is that regardless of the records you view, you can get them instantly printed out as well as save them on your device as a PDF file.

Head over to iPERMS login page to access the system. Take note that you can access iPERMS from home but you need to gain access first. Fill out DD Form 2875 to gain access and you must log in once in every 90 days to keep the access. If you don’t access to IPERMS at home for more than 90 days, you will lose the access and must complete another DD Form 2875 to regain access to iPERMS.
